Embrace Movie Magic with Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters™ & Studios Pack

Cambridge, UK – April 26, 2021 – Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV) today announced two brand new packs for Planet Coaster: Console EditionPlanet Coaster: Ghostbusters™ and the Studios Pack will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 on 29 April, giving players everywhere the chance to expand their parks like never before.

Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters is the ultimate love letter to the hit movie. It features the supreme vocal talents of Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton in a brand new story-driven scenario.. There’s also authentic scenery pieces aplenty and sound effects straight from the 1984 original, including the ECTO-1, Slimer, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the Ghostbusters HQ, and Spook Central, offering everything players need to create a hauntingly good park.

Players can enthral guests with an assortment of new blueprints, a multitude of building materials, and a brand new flat ride and coaster. These are RollerGhoster, a twisting, turning, Slimer-themed kiddie coaster; and The Ghostbusters Experience, an interactive tracked ride where guests bust ghosts and score points as they ride around in the ECTO-1. Players can even take a ride themselves and fire Proton Packs to take down the colourful spirits and spectres in first-person. 

Bringing the blockbuster experience to Planet Coaster: Console Edition, the Studios Pack lets players choreograph heart-pounding stunt shows, design exciting backlot tours, and create cinematic thrill rides that put guests right in the heart of the action.

The Studios Pack contains over 90 new blueprints, hundreds of new scenery items and construction pieces, and three incredible new rides. These are Big Screen Tour, a bus-based ride bringing park guests face-to-face with silver screen spectacles; Re-Motion, a simulator-style tracked ride in which an adjustable robotic arm tilts riders in all directions; and Horror Heights, a chilling drop tower dark ride.

Both Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters and Studios Pack make wonderful additions to the world of Planet Coaster: Console Edition.

Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters is available for a suggested retail price of £12.99/$14.99/€14.99. The Studios Pack is available for a suggested retail price of £7.99/$9.99/€9.99. They both release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, on April 29th.

Top Hat Studios is Releasing the Final PS Vita Game Ever on April 27th

Synergia and Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story will support cross-buy with PS4 and PS5

After extensive discussions and technical conversations with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Top Hat Studios, Inc. has secured what may be the last ever releases for the Playstation Vita platform. SYNERGIA by RadiArts will be the penultimate title for the console, and SENSE: A CYBERPUNK GHOST STORY by Suzaku will be the final ever release for the platform. Both will be released on Tuesday, the 27th of April, with cross-buy available for the PS4 versions of the games (also available on PS5 via backwards compatibility).

They will continue to be available for just under 4 months – up until the point of final closure for the PS Vita store; this digital release comes following a previously released limited physical edition for both titles, each of which sold out in under a day. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations with PEGI and the SIEE Vita storefront services, these releases will be digital-only for the NA and Asia regional Playstation Stores.

Synergia was originally released on Steam in July 2020, where it achieved an overwhelming percentage of good reviews and the love of visual novel fans. In this cyberpunk-themed visual novel, players enter a new world where love becomes the ultimate crime. They will play as Cilla, a lonely police officer whose life changes after meeting an extraordinary human-like android named M.A.R.A. The game is now available via Steam, GoG, the Nintendo eShop, and Playstation Store for PS4 with PS5 compatibility.

Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story was originally released on the 25th of August, 2020, and has gained a cult following for its blending of cyberpunk, oriental mythology, Japanese horror, and kitschy aesthetics. The game is available digitally on Steam, the Nintendo eShop, the Playstation Store for PS4/PS5, and also in physical cartridge format for Nintendo Switch courtesy of EastAsiaSoft in conjunction with PlayAsia.

TOHO Games Teases Upcoming Mobile Game “Godzilla Battle Line”

Tokyo, JapanApril 16, 2021 – TOHO Games, the game label of Toho Co., Ltd. today released a key visual and the latest promo video for its upcoming mobile game “Godzilla Battle Line” ahead of its global debut in May. The announcement follows the release of key art and promo video for “Godzilla Destruction” earlier this week, one of three Godzilla Games for mobile worldwide that are releasing year, the first of which, “Run Godzilla,” is already available on mobile worldwide.

In “Godzilla Battle Line”, all the legendary monsters and weapons from the Godzilla series are ready for an epic fight. Players can build their own team of the strongest monsters and compete in exciting 3-minute battles against players from all over the world in real time.

The game’s key visual features some of the most beloved monsters featured over the course of the Godzilla series’ more than 65-year history, including Godzilla himself, King Ghidorah, Biollante, Rodan, Mechagodzilla, and Mothra.
 
Alongside this visual, a promo video featuring the latest gameplay footage has been released. The video is packed with unique and thrilling elements found in the game, from fierce battle scenes of the monsters clashing, to special moves, like Godzilla’s Heat Ray, that can turn the tide of battle in an instant.
 
Godzilla’s path of destruction is set to expand even further alongside the release of the Hollywood movie “Godzilla vs. Kong” (in US theaters and on HBO MAX on March 31, and in Japanese theaters on May 14) and the anime TV series “Godzilla Singular Point”.
 
The pre-registration campaign for the mobile game “Godzilla Battle Line” is also open. The game is set to be released in some countries in April 2021, and worldwide (including Japan) in May.
